About Mark Zilberman

Mark Zilberman, LCSW is the Director of NorthStar Care and Guidance, LLC.  He went into social work as a second career (previously a professional photographer) in the mid 90’s. He acquired his social work degree from SUNY at Stony Brook. He acquired academic and NY and NJ professional specializations (CASAC/LCADC) in alcohol and substance abuse treatment. Additionally, he was awarded clinical specializations from both states (LCSW), as well. This was due to his work with the mentally ill and homeless.

Since 2000 Mark has dedicated his time to elder and geriatric care management. He is a member of NAPGCM and NASW. In addition, he has assisted the board continuously of the NY chapter of NAPGCM.
