We bring an unusual breadth of experience to serve you and your family. We do NOT just do geriatric care management. We deal with problems many will not touch. One particularly troubling problem is that of the mentally or physically disabled family member.

Questions arise about:

• What will happen after their parents are gone?
• What services are available?
• Where will they live?
• Who will watch over them?

Mark Zilberman, LCSW is VERY experienced at this. We are trained and licensed to deal with problems of mental illness, mental retardation, alcoholism and substance abuse. These are problems of the young and old alike. They present with many problems and they call for pragmatic action. GCM's who deal these kinds of problems are few in number.

NorthStar Care and Guidance, LLC is social work based. We deal with "the person in their situation". We do get our hands dirty. We don't just work 9-5. The "office is parked in the driveway".
